Artist and synesthete Heather Phillipson’s large scale and cartoonish art work subverts the every day and ignites the senses. In 2020, her work will sit on Trafalgar Square’s fourth plinth – a huge ice cream with a cherry on top, flanked by a fly and a drone and titled The End.
